How do I know when there is an update to the app?
For most updates, you will receive a notification from the Google Play Store. On occasion, you will receive a notification to update in the alerts section of LTL.
How can I invite my friends to play Lucktastic Trivia Live?
We encourage sharing! If you love the app, and want to challenge your friends to trivia, share it!
Tap the hamburger menu in the top left corner of your Lucktastic Trivia Live app
Click on the menu and select “Friends” and share via Facebook, Twitter, email, or SMS.
Once your friend uses your referral to download and play the app, your account will be credited with 1,000 stars. Share away!
You can confirm your earned stars by going to the Account History section of the app located under the settings option
I’m having technical issues, who do I contact?
I don’t have Facebook or Twitter, can I still register?
You don’t need to have a Facebook or Twitter account in order to register with Lucktastic Trivia Live. You can register with us at any time by providing your name, email address, and creating a password.
How do I know if I am registered user?
To find out if you are registered:
Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of your Lucky Trivia Live app.
If the first menu item says ‘Register’, this means you are NOT registered.
If you would like to register, hit the ‘Register’ button and follow the steps. Registration is required in order to redeem prizes with us.
How do I update my account information?
To update your account information:
Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of your Lucktastic Trivia Live app
Go to ‘Settings’, and click on ‘Edit Account’
How do I reset my password?
In order to change your password, make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of the app, then follow these steps:
Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of your Lucktastic Trivia Live app
Click ‘Change Password’
Enter your phone number
You will receive a text message with a 6 digit code
In the app you will be prompted to enter the 6 digit code and a new password
Your password has been updated!
I forgot my password, now what?
On the login screen, tap ‘Forgot Password’
Enter your Lucktastic Trivia Live registered email address
You will receive an email from email@example.com with a reset password link and a 5 digit code
Click on the link and enter the 5 digit code to receive a temporary password
Return to the Lucky Trivia Live App and enter your temporary password
You will then be prompted to reset your password
Do you disclose my information to third-parties?
Your privacy is important to us and we never disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. We do disclose your personal information in the following circumstances, should you win:
We may publish your first name, last initial, location, picture, and a description of the prize won in advertisements and promotional materials.
We may disclose personal information about you to third parties in connection with State and Federal tax reporting obligations.
Do you sell any of my personal information?
Nope. We do NOT sell our users’ personal information. All information is kept in a secure database for your protection.
Do I need to be a U.S. Resident to play Lucktastic Trivia Live?
Yes. Currently, Lucktastic Trivia Live is only offered to US residents.
How old do I have to be to play Lucktastic Trivia Live?
You must be at least 17 years or older to play Lucktastic Trivia Live
Why Can’t I Play Lucktastic Trivia Live in my Country?
Our sweepstakes and instant win scratch cards are based on the laws of the United States, so only players in the U.S. are eligible to play and win.
Inactive Account & Termination
If your account is inactive for more than 30 consecutive days, we reserve the right to debit your account balance $1.00 per month to recover the cost of account maintenance. until you reactivate your account by accessing your account or participate in a Giveaway or your account balance is zero. If the balance in your inactive account is or becomes zero, we may close your account permanently and cease to maintain your account records. Additionally, if your account is inactive for more than 30 consecutive days, we will debit your account the full expired Stars balance. Expired Stars are non-refundable.
How do I get new scratch cards to play?
Your scratch cards reset everyday at 5 am EST/2 am PST.
Are my cards being timed? Why is there a timer?
Your scratch cards are limited each day and the timer shows how long you have left before your daily opportunities expire, so check back daily for more chances to win big!
What can I use my Stars for?
You can use your accumulated Stars to redeem entries into our Daily Contests.
Where can I find my Stars balance?
Your Star balance is available in the upper right corner of the app.
Are my Stars real money?
Stars are NOT real money and do not have any monetary value. Stars can be used to enter Contests.
I lost Stars after deleting the app and reinstalled it, what should I do?
To retrieve your missing Stars, sign into your Lucktastic Trivia Live account with the same email address and password you previously used. If you registered using Facebook, login by clicking on the Facebook icon on the sign in screen.
How do I know if I won a cash prize?
If you win a cash prize with Lucktastic Trivia Live, you will receive a notification within the app congratulating you!
Your winnings will be reflected in your account balance in the app
All cash winners will also receive a confirmation email regarding their winnings.
To enter a Daily Contest you can click on the in app-menu and scroll down to select ‘Daily Contests’
Daily Contests offer you a chance to win multiple gift cards everyday! You earn entries by answering all your trivia questions correctly! You can also use your stars to submit even more entries!
Who won the contest and how will I know?
Once a contest has ended, we begin the process of selecting a winner shortly afterward. Contest winners are contacted via their Lucky Trivia Live registered email address. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, we select another winner and begin the process again. We only announce winners once they’ve been confirmed. Winners are announced on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and in the Lucky Trivia Live app. If you are a winner, Lucky Trivia Live will send you a congratulatory email with instructions on claiming your prize.
How long do I have to wait before I receive my prize?
Should you win a contest with Lucky Trivia Live, please allow up to 10 business days to receive your prize after confirming. After 10 business days, if you still have not received your prize please contact our support team (firstname.lastname@example.org).
How does Lucktastic Trivia Live choose contest winners?
Contest winners are selected from all eligible entries randomly. One winner is selected per contest via our automated system.
What are Daily Rewards?
Daily Rewards are collected through consecutive days of play. Your first Daily Reward would be credited on your second day of consecutive play and require at least 2 scratch cards completed per day. The Daily Rewards for the first 4 days of consecutive play are revealed to players in the Daily Rewards section of the app. On the 5th day, you will begin to receive mystery rewards which can be a variety of star amounts or contest entries. Should you miss a day of play, your Daily Rewards will reset.
What is the Mystery Reward?
Once you have reached the Mystery Reward portion of the Daily Rewards (on and after the 5th day of consecutive play), you will receive an assortment of rewards which include Stars, contest entries, and more. To see your Mystery Reward for that day, tap the Daily Reward button located at the top of the Lucktastic Trivia Live dashboard.
Do I have to pay taxes on my winnings?
We report all cash winnings above $600 to the IRS, as required by Federal Law. If you have any further questions about your taxes, we suggest that you speak to your accountant as they will be able to provide you with more information.
What is a W-9 Form?
A W-9 is one of the most commonly used IRS forms. If you’ve ever been an employee of a company, you’ve probably completed a W-9 Form. Individuals and entities use the form to provide their taxpayer identification number to entities that pay them income during the tax year.
What is a 1099 Misc Form?
The IRS requires any person or company who makes certain types of payments to report them on a 1099-MISC to the winner and the IRS. This informational form covers a wide range of payments you receive, such as rent, royalties, prizes and awards and substitute payments in lieu of dividends.
I saw an advertisement I didn’t like, what should I do?
Please send an email to email@example.com with details about the advertisement you saw and we will further investigate it. If you can provide a screenshot in the email this would be helpful as well.

Lucky Trivia Live is and always will be FREE for all users. That means it’s free to download and contains no in-app purchases! We connect users to national and local brand partners to offer ever evolving exclusive deals. This means you get to play for free, and we can afford to reward you for it!
Can I purchase additional cards, Stars or opportunities to win?
Lucktastic Trivia Live is 100% free to play. This means no in-app purchases that would give some users an unfair advantage over others. Every user has an equal opportunity to win big or small.
Is Lucktastic Trivia Live hearing-impaired friendly?
Yes! All the questions and answers in LTL are closed captioned.

How do I manage push notifications from Lucktastic Trivia Live?
We suggest you keep your push notifications on in order to receive all important communications on new contests and winners! To adjust push notifications go directly into your device ‘Settings’ and locate the Lucktastic Trivia Live app, from there you can turn notifications on/off.
